





A New Project in Poland
The Contract for the construction of the S-69 Expressway Biała – Żywiec – Zwardoń, the section from the “Mikuszowice” (“Żywiecka/Bystrzańska”) interchange – Żywiec interchange, was ceremonially signed on July 20, 2010 in Katowice by Mr. Krzysztof Raj, the director of the Branch office of the Directorate General of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) in Katowice, Mrs. Ewa Tomala-Borucka, the Deputy Directress for the implementation of the GDDKiA investments and Mr. Konrad Jaskola, the President of the company Polimex-Mostostal, on behalf of the Contractor, the leader of the consortium of the three companies that will implement the project. It concerns an expressway section with the length of about 15.3 km, with a number of bridges, among which there is also the nearly 1,300 m long flyover.
On behalf of Doprastav, the consortium member, the Contract was signed by the Director General, Mr. Dučan ©amudovskę, Grad. Eng., CSc. The third member of the consortium that will be carrying out the construction is the bridge building company Mostmar. On the ceremony the company was represented by its Chief executive officer, Mr. Marcin Marcinków. The consortium leader, the company Polimex-Mostostal, was represented also by the Commercial Director, Mr. Rafal Godula, as well as the Director of the Polimex-Mostostal Katowice Branch, Mr. Marian Ohl. The company Doprastav was represented on the ceremony by Mr. Róbert Turanskę, Grad. Eng., the Director of the Foreign Business Department and Mr. ©tefan Kovalèík, Grad. Eng., the Director of the Poland Corporate Unit.
