Doprastav begins to work in Poland on a new project. The contract for the construction of the A1 motorway in section “Strykow – Tuszyn Junction” was signed by the Client and the implementation consortium on December 21, 2010. The implementation consortium is formed by a number of companies. Together with Doprastav and its traditional Polish partner, the company Polimex-Mostostal it represents the following companies: MSF-Engenharia, MSF Polska Sp. and Mostmar. The construction period is 32 months.

As Mr. Róbert Turanský, the Director of Doprastav’s foreign business activities, has informed, the project will go by the Yellow FIDIC system, which means the Design-Build system. The Works specific feature is the fact that it concerns a concrete pavement in the section whole length. The section includes three large motorway junctions (interchanges), 19 bridges and viaducts, as well as 34 bridges and ducts crossing the motorway.
